Gently, Effectively Remove Buildup And Impurities

A super gentle exfoliating toner to remove dead skin cells, while preserving the skin barrier.

With a very considered blend of lactic acid (the most gentle AHA), a slow releasing poly-hydroxy acid (PHA), and aloe vera extract, this exfoliating toner is as effective as it is soothing. Designed with sensitive skin and those new to chemical exfoliants in mind, this toner will remove build up of dead skin cells and impurities, soften the appearance of fine lines, boost skin hydration, and pay your water bill (no).

Perfect if you are chasing extra radiance, or someone who has steered clear of exfoliating toners due to skin sensitivity. Rich in vitamins c, e and beta carotene this gentle formula works to reduce discomfort and calm irritation, while amplifying skin nourishment.

Important! When using AHA products, wearing daily SPF becomes even more crucial. So, do it!

The Gentle Exfoliator made my skin feel soft and clean, and I loved the fact that I didn't break out after using it (I've had issues with other liquid exfoliants). It's a really clean and fresh formula, and made my skin feel super soft.

What Is An Exfoliating Toner, And Do I Really Need One?

Just when you thought you had a grip on the skin universe, we go ahead and combine a toner with an exfoliator. (Apologies! Sorta.)

Gluconolactone

A poly-hydroxy acid (PHA) that acts as a preservative, protecting Go-To products from microorganisms and also has the added benefit of helping to increase skin moisturisation.

After cleansing, apply exfoliating toner by lightly soaking a cotton pad and sweeping across the face, avoiding the under-eye area. Do not rinse. Follow on with serums, oils, creams, and SPF.

*You do you! Once a day might be enough! We recommend starting slow, incorporating Gentle Exfoliator into your routine every other day, before working up to daily or twice daily use.

Reduce Reuse Recycle

100% post-consumer recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottle.

Not good for sensitive skin
I usually have sensitive, acne-prone skin. This product sounded great as it was marketed towards sensitive skin. After one use my face was bright red and stinging, and I ended up with a burning, red patch on my chin that took weeks to go away (literally looked like a chemical burn!). I do not recommend this product for anyone.

I can't tell if this is working
Although I love all things Go-To, I wish I'd purchased an exfoliator with some grit to it, simply because I can't tell if it's working or not. I know that doesn't mean it doesn't work, but it just doesn't FEEL different.
Not sure if this is useful, sorry! It does smell nice though and feels good on the skin immediately after, I just don't feel the exfoliation.
