Sensitive skin is usually caused by genetic differences in the normal protective skin barrier. This leads to irritation, inflammation, and general crankiness when exposed to irritants or allergens. 

Important! This differs from sensitised skin, which is a temporary condition caused by damaging your skin barrier with too many heavy duty actives or exfoliants. 

Sensitised skin can be tackled through soothing, repairing ingredients whereas sensitive skin is a skin type that can be managed but never relieved.

Completely. Every product in the range is free from fragrance and essential oils.

Yes! (But gently.)

Our sensitive-safe exfoliator combines 5% lactic acid and 4% gluconolactone to offer an ultra-gentle approach to exfoliation. Start once a week, avoid using it on irritated skin, and increase use only if your skin is comfortable. 

Always! This range has been made specifically for sensitive skin but all skin is different. We recommend patch testing first.

Each step of this collection is dedicated to what sensitive skin needs most: Barrier repair, soothing ingredients, and long-lasting comfort. So if you don’t have sensitive skin: This collection probably isn’t the best pick for you.

But! If your skin is facing some temporary sensitivity (overdone it on the exfoliation, post-treatment etc.), Sensitive by Go-To can effortlessly slot into your routine to get your skin back on track.

Our core range is dermatologically safe for sensitive skin. But whether it was certain ingredients, formula strengths or fragrances, we know that some faces just couldn’t use it. So we intentionally formulated and rigorously tested this range specifically for them.
